FIRST SHOT FROM THE 5D MARK III AT CORAL COVE

Well it's been a while since I had been back to this place and that it would actually would show the rocks which are exposed most of year. I actually got up late for this shooting, but got going anyway. I literally flew on the road so I would get there and set up prior to the sun coming up the horizon. I got there a few minutes before. By the time I got there a couple of photographers were already there and shooting including my friend Greg Anderson

The forecast was cloudy/mostly cloudy as the morning advanced. I lover this place when it is mostly cloudy and somewhat stormy. So this morning I got these beautiful clouds right a the time the sun was coming ip, The sun was to my right and was covered by very dense clouds which makes for a very nice, even light, no harsh shadows of strong contrast. It was a nice soft light which I also like because it is very even as you can see from this shot.
This was not a very productive morning in terms of getting many shots. I believe this one and perhaps another vertical before sunrise may pass the test. We'll see, you can be the judge of that.

Hope you all had a great weekend and I wish you a very good week. Thanks for stopping by and visiting, as always I appreciate your comments and critiques.
