THE BEAUTY OF THE HEAVENS...

This is the beautiful PINE GLADES LAKE, located in The Everglades National Park. I love to shoot this place at night. It has been traditionally shot for sunset mainly, however, I attempted once before while shooting with Michael Pancier but it was not a long a exposure, we were both shooting at high ISO just to get the stars, not star trails.

I tried this one back in December during a cold front so the sensor would not heat up too much and therefore I would avoid noise as much as possible. Well I still had some noise to deal with as should be expected, this shot was 59.2 minutes.

This scene reminds me of The Bible verse that states

"The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork."

Psalms 19:1

Such a majestic display of awesomeness

It is mind blowing to know that what our eyes see and even beyond is only a minuscule fragment of this universe that God has created. What our eyes see is nothing but a small manifestation or shadow of the true greatness, glory and magnificence of the Almighty creator whose resurrection we celebrate today!.
